Feature Project - In Development
Dakota (based on true events) - Writer/Producer Dan Wood. Synopsis: March 2, 1942 and the Japanese have just swept through Java. The last plane out of Bandung is about to leave when a mysterious package is thrust into the hands of the pilot, Captain Robert Dallas. Flying towards the safety of the Australian mainland, Dallas encounters three Japanese Zeros returning from the devastating air raid on Broome. Under a barrage of fire he lands the heavily damaged DC-3 Dakota on an isolated and remote beach. With their predicament complicated by dying and wounded passengers the chances of survival in this inhospitable environment seem very remote. But when survivors start to die inexplicably Dallas discovers one of their group is not who they seem. Battling a merciless sun, huge tides and crocodile infested mangroves with no food and little water Dallas must overcome his demons and rise above adversity as they battle to survive the hostile environment and a secret worth killing for.

Synopsis: After learning that her Great Uncle Henry has died, divorcee Madeline decides to take her reluctant children on a cross country journey to attend his funeral. On the way she tells her kids the story about the summer when she and some neighbourhood kids built an entire castle completely out of junk and then went to war to defend it against the property developer who tried to tear it down.

Synopsis: In a society enhanced by mobile phone technology, ex-offender Stuart Turner struggles to re-engage. His girlfirend has left him, his school mates won't look him in the eye and he's forced to endure the legacy of his criminal father. Feeling completely alienated, Stuart finds distraction in the Alternative Reality Gane (ARG) "Eden" but when the fictional conspiracy in the game begins to mirror facts surrounding his father's legacy, Stuart learns the frightening truth... "Eden" is not a game, but very, very real.

Synopsis: Five very different kids living in Broome, in the far north of WA, are forced together by circumstance through the chance discovery of a map leading to "Diamond Jack" Palmer's legendary missing diamonds; losy after the shooting down of the DC Dakota "Pelikaan" during the Japanese bombing raid on Broome in 1945. Through a series of adventures en route, including crocdiles, traps, traditional lore and the villain, Jethro Palmer, the kids discover that true wealth and happiness lie not in the pot at the end of the rainbow but rather in their own human endeavour and heart.

Synopsis: Three generations of indigenous men share a home together. Bubbly, the grandfather, never short of a scheme to make the family fortune, Mark, the father, a hard-working career journalist and Mark Jnr, the son, urbane and cool and finishing his senior year of high school. When the paper loses it's "Dear Abby" columnist, Mark is forced to take over the writing and his no-nonsense practical advice sends the coloumn's popularity rocketing. Under threat of exposure from Bubbly, an embarrassment to his son, Mark juggles running the family home, holding down his job and keeping his secret identity and new found popularity under wraps!

Synopsis: 20 years ago, Fatty Albert took his 45ft boat, Oranbanda through Buccaneer Archipelago with his young family and discovered Albert Island. Today Fatty's son, Jig, his wife Nikki and their children Brad and Chelsea have resurrected Oranbanda from a dusty backlot in Broome, refitted it throughout and set out to rediscover Albert Island and show off one of the most beautiful and remote coastlines in the world.

Synopsis: From the tiny village of Imilchil comes Morocco's very own Romeo and Juliet story. Born from the legend of Issly and Tisset, two star-crossed lovers forbidden to marry, the Imilchil betrothal festival sees disparate nomads come together once a year for a three day festiavl in which up to 40 potential brides and grooms commit to marriage. The Brides of Imichil follows the wheelings and dealings of two families as they prepare, coach, and negotiate their young bride and young groom into the very serious business of marriage.
